General Usage Information

Can I post a video/photo that I shot of a professional athlete at a stadium?

You can... but you really shouldn't!
Why? Because ThatMo is all about your game, your moves, and your moment. We love the pros too, but let's keep the spotlight on amateur athletes, the rising stars, and future legends. Share the magic of your future G.O.A.T., not the superstars already on TV!

Who is ThatMo for?

Anyone chasing that awesome sports moment!
Whether you're a soccer player, hoop shooter, track star, home runner or the goalie with insane saves - ThatMo is where amateur athletes, parents, and coaches can showcase greatness.

What sport categories are included at ThatMo?

For now, we included these below. We'll definitely expand our categories.

What if my sport is not included at ThatMo?

No worrries, we'll eventually add it. In the meantime if your sport is not included, please choose "Other" and add the sport name to your post Description. We'll check the demand and add them.

What kind of videos or photos can I upload?

Skill. Hustle. Heart.
Upload short clips or cool photos of goals, blocks, trick shots, saves, celebrations - all the moments that make you go "Did you see THAT!?"

Can I add music to my videos?

Yes, but only if you own the rights.
If your video includes embedded music that you don't have permission to use, it may be taken down. Stick to original tracks, licensed audio, or royalty-free music to keep your moment safe and sound. Here is a great free music library by mobygratis.

Can parents or coaches post for their kids or teams?

Absolutely!
Parents and coaches can create and manage profiles for young athletes. It's a team effort - on and off the field!

Is this just for soccer?

Nope!
ThatMo is open to all sports - from basketball and lacrosse to wakeboarding and martial arts. If it's a moment worth sharing, it belongs here.

Media Specifications

What's the maximum file size I can upload?

300MB for both photos and videos.
We keep it fair and fast for everyone. If your file is over the limit, you'll get a friendly nudge to compress it a bit.

What's the time limit for videos?

30 seconds max.
Got a longer video? We'll keep the first 30 seconds and trim the rest. Make your moment count early!

Will my photo be cropped or resized?

No cropping. Only smart resizing.
We'll resize your photo so the longest side is no more than 1280px.
Portrait shots? We resize height to 1280px.
Landscape? We resize width to 1280px.
Your moment stays whole, just a bit optimized!

What happens to large videos?

Big videos get resized - never cropped!
We make sure all videos stay within 1080x1080.
Portrait mode? Height will be 1080px.
Landscape? Width will be 1080px.
Your full frame stays visible and your moment shines.

My Data and Account

Is my data safe on ThatMo?

Yes! We take security and privacy seriously.
All accounts are protected with secure login and your data is encrypted. We don't share personal info with anyone, and we comply with all legal requirements. Your content = your control.

Can I delete my account later?

Yes - anytime, no questions asked.
You can delete your account from your profile settings. We retain data for up to 6 months for legal reasons, then everything is fully deleted.

Location Information

Does ThatMo.com track or show my exact location?

No - we do not display or publish your precise location. We may collect general location data from your IP address or your media's embedded geotags, but this is only used to enhance your experience - not expose your exact whereabouts.

What is this location data used for?

What location will appear on my post?

If available, your post may show a general label like "Miami Beach, FL, USA". This will link to a broader search page - for example, Florida, USA - helping others find related content in that area.

Can I change the location shown on my profile or posts?

Yes. You have full control over the location that appears on both your profile and your individual posts. You can update it anytime to better reflect where you play, where you're from, or where the moment happened.

What regions does ThatMo use?

We never use or publish exact coordinates. Everything is high-level and privacy-safe.

Is regional tagging optional?

Regional tagging is used to help users discover content, but you control how your profile and posts are labeled. We do not share, expose, or sell your IP or GPS location data - ever.

Choosing a Username

We'll assign a username when you sign up. You can change it later if you've posted at least one moment, and the new username follows the rules and isn't already in use. Please keep in mind that your username is also your profile url.
